The truly unique, nature-filled location—about 400 meters from the nearest public road, directly adjacent to Hamburg’s largest nature reserve, the Kirchwerder Meadows, and the Kirchwerder Marschbahndamm hiking and biking trail—is ideal for nature lovers seeking peace and quiet.
You’ll be staying in the heart of nature, yet still able to reach downtown Hamburg—with all its cultural offerings—in just 30 minutes by car. There is also a bus stop very nearby.
The Elbe River, swimming lakes, restaurants such as the Zollenspieker Fährhaus, the Elbe ferry, and organic farms are all in the immediate vicinity. All shopping options for daily needs and a playground are within walking distance.

On the large terrace, you’ll enjoy the sunsets and have wonderful evenings barbecuing. In addition, from there and the private garden—which is for your exclusive use—you’ll have a view stretching for kilometers across fields and meadows, which are ideal for long walks and bike rides. Enjoy the peace, nature, and seclusion. Aside from the owners, who live in the front part of the signal box, the nearest neighbors are about 400 meters away.
