Summary: My mom could not walk due to an injury two days before the trip. Upon arrival the front desk agent was more concern about something that had happened to another guest and didn't really paid any attention to my questions. He sent me to another desk where I inquired about a wheelchair. She first told me that they were in terrible condition and that they could not provide one so I would have to contact a company to rent it. I asked her to let me look at the ones they had and I found one that was very old but still working, the back was ripped a wheel was not turning but over all it was the best they could provide. When we came to the room we found cockroaches on the floor, that was disgusting. The room was descent, the towels were very old and they only provided two sets but we were 3 people. After calling several times and going straight to the customer service desk we finally got an extra set. And the housekeeper came to clean the floor. The employees were very attentive and welcoming. The one that made our stay an unforgettable one despide the initial experiences was Maelo Alias “Beyonce” he approached us at the pool, introduced himself and invited us to participate in every single activity. Every single day he learned our names and took time to say hi with a real smile. His energy was very contagious and he definitely stood up from the rest. Another employee that was excellent was at one of the Asian/Peruvian restaurants his name was Fernando. He was 10/10 best server!
